Count down to Russia: 16 days

I am full of emotions right now. I am leaving training on Thursday so I am happy to be leaving and going home to move to Russia, but then I am sad at the same time because I am leaving my friends here. It has been awesome the past two months hanging out with all my friends we have had a blast and I just can not wait to see how God is going to use us all on the field.

Another exciting thing that happened this week is my parents came yesterday. I was so excited to see them and get to hang out with them since I just have a few more weeks with them. They got here and informed me that two couples from my old church and one from my new will be arriving on Wednesday for my commissioning service which is nice to have the support here from the churches that are supporting me through prayer. Man the people at my churches are great and I would not change them for the world!!!

Hey Hope!

I'm sad I didn't get to see more of you at training...pretty much, since we lived on the opposite end of the campus than everyone else, us South Asia folks never knew what was going on over on your side. We were kind of secluded. And why did you always have to sit in the front of the classroom? :) Well, I'm sure we'll have another hang out time...someday.

I leave Sunday afternoon! Yippee! I'm praying for you today, Hope, and for your new deaf friends-to-be...
